The Career Studies Certificates in Computer-Aided Drafting are designed to train students in the fundamentals of design and drafting and the use of computer software applications in various drafting disciplines. The Basic Certificate provides the minimum preparation for employment as a draftsman or CAD operator. The Advanced Certificate could be used to advance the preparation of an employed draftsman, a graduate of the Basic CSC or a graduate of the Drafting Certificate. Once the certificate(s) is/are complete, it may be applied toward the Diploma in Industrial Technology.
