The Diploma in Industrial Technology with a
Specialization in Computer-Aided Drafting is designed primarily for persons who
seek full-time employment in the area of drafting and design immediately upon
completion of the community college program. Persons who are first seeking
employment in the area of drafting and design or who seek a promotion may
benefit from this program. Specifically, the objectives of the program are to
prepare graduates for careers as detail drafters, assistant designers, and
computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) operators.
Many of the credits earned in the Industrial Technology Program may be applied
toward completion of the Associate in Applied Science Degree Program in Mechanical
Design Technology.
* For a full-time student, part-time students determine their own pace.
