The Associate in Applied Science Degree Program with a major in Information Systems Technology is designed primarily for people who seek full-time employment in the area of information systems technology immediately upon completion of the community college program. People who are seeking their first employment in an information systems technology position and those presently employed in this field who seek a promotion may benefit from this pro gram. Specifically, the objectives of the program are to prepare graduates for careers as computer programmers, systems analysts, pc support specialists, and network support specialists as well as related positions in the computer field. Full-time students may complete the degree in two years; part-time students determine their own pace.
